Key users as a success factor in SAP projects

Our key user concept strengthens central project roles in the SAP environment. Key users connect business and IT and actively participate in processes, tests and training. Through targeted training, coaching and train-the-trainer programs, they become multipliers who sustainably secure knowledge within the company.

Key users are central success factors in every SAP project. They are the bridge between the business department, IT and end users. Through their knowledge of the business processes and their commitment, they make a significant contribution to the successful introduction and use of the new SAP system in the company. Experienced employees who know their department's workflows inside out and are intensively involved with the processes that are already in place and those to be introduced take on various roles in the project.

  • You will be trained in the relevant SAP standard processes.
  • They actively shape the system landscape by defining requirements and providing support during implementation.
  • They take part in tests and contribute to quality assurance.
  • Once the system has been implemented, they themselves become knowledge carriers within the company.
  • They train end users, provide support with questions and ensure the transfer of knowledge.
  • If required, they receive didactic and methodological training as internal trainers.

Why key users are crucial

A key user understands the IT-supported business processes of their area in detail, can evaluate alternatives and system options and acts as a "solution champion" in the organization. They provide first-level support, assist with tests and upgrades and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes through feedback.

In practice, however, there are a few stumbling blocks that can jeopardize the success of a key user concept.

We meet these challenges with a structured approach and targeted support measures.

t4t's key user concept ensures the sustainable transfer of knowledge in the SAP project. The targeted selection, training and support of key users strengthens competence, personal responsibility and motivation within the company - an essential basis for successful system operation after the go-live.
