After attending the "CO Compact for SAP ERP" seminar, participants will be familiar with the basic methods and functions of controlling (SAP CO) and understand how controlling processes are implemented in the SAP ERP system. They will gain an overview of the most important tasks of management accounting and the role of controlling within integrated business processes.
Participants learn about key organizational structures and master data in Controlling, such as cost elements, cost centers, activity types, and internal orders. They understand how costs can be recorded, planned, and evaluated in the system.
In addition, they will gain an overview of important areas of controlling such as overhead cost controlling, income and market segment accounting, and profit center accounting. They will also learn about basic planning, posting, and settlement processes in the SAP CO module.
After the seminar, participants will be able to classify the most important functions and process relationships of controlling in SAP ERP and understand how cost information is used in the system for planning, control, and reporting.
