After attending the "MM Compact for SAP ERP" seminar, participants will be familiar with the basic functions of materials management (SAP MM) and understand how procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes are mapped in the SAP ERP system.
Participants gain an overview of important organizational structures and master data in materials management, such as the material master, vendor master, and purchasing organizations. They understand their significance for mapping purchasing and warehouse processes in the system.
In addition, they learn about key material procurement processes—from determining requirements and scheduling to ordering processes, goods receipt, and inventory management. Basic functions of logistics invoice verification and service procurement are also covered.
Another focus is on important functions such as inventory management, inventory processes, and supplier evaluation, which contribute to the control and transparency of materials management.
After the seminar, participants will be able to classify the most important processes of materials management in the SAP ERP system and understand how procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification interact within the logistics process chain.
