After attending the "PP Compact for SAP ERP" seminar, participants will be familiar with the basic functions of production planning and control (SAP PP) and understand how production processes are planned, controlled, and monitored in the SAP ERP system.
Participants will gain an overview of important master data for production planning, such as material master data, bills of material, and routings, which serve as the basis for planning and executing manufacturing processes. They will understand how this data is used in the system for planning production processes.
In addition, they learn about key steps in production planning , including sales and production planning, demand planning, and material requirements planning (MRP). They understand how production requirements are determined and manufacturing processes are prepared in the system.
Another focus is on production control, for example, via production orders, capacity planning, and scheduling. Participants also gain an overview of the integration of production processes with other SAP areas, such as Materials Management (MM) and Controlling (CO).
After the seminar, participants will be able to classify the most important processes of production planning and control in SAP ERP and understand how production processes are planned, executed, and monitored in the system.
