After attending the "WM Compact for SAP ERP" seminar, participants will be familiar with the basic functions of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and understand how warehouse processes are mapped and controlled in the SAP ERP system. The module is designed to manage and optimize warehouse stocks and material movements within a warehouse in detail.
Participants will gain an overview of the most important organizational structures and master data in warehouse management, such as warehouse numbers, warehouse types, storage areas, and storage bins. They will understand how complex warehouse structures and stocks at storage bin level are represented in the system.
In addition, they learn about key warehouse logistics processes, such as storage, transfer, picking, and removal of materials, as well as inventory and stock movement management. Basic functions such as transfer orders, inventory processes, and warehouse control are also covered.
Another focus is on integrating warehouse management with related SAP modules, especially Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales and Distribution (SD) within the logistics process chain.
After completing the seminar, participants will be able to classify the most important processes and functions of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) in the SAP ERP system and understand how warehouse processes are supported by the system in the company.
