After attending the "SD Compact for SAP ERP" seminar, participants will be familiar with the basic functions and processes of the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module and will understand how sales processes are mapped and controlled in the SAP ERP system.
Participants gain an overview of important organizational structures and master data in sales, such as customer and material master data, as well as sales and shipping structures. They understand their significance for mapping sales and delivery processes in the system.
In addition, they learn about the entire process chain of customer order processing —from pre-sales activities and quotation preparation to customer orders and delivery processing to invoicing. Fundamental concepts such as pricing (condition technique), contract processing, and complaint handling are also covered.
Another focus is on integrating sales processes with other SAP areas, particularly materials management (MM), production (PP), and finance (FI) within the logistics process chain.
After the seminar, participants will be able to classify the most important sales processes in SAP ERP and understand how customer orders, deliveries, and invoices are processed in an integrated manner in the system.
